Halloween Fun

We had a really fun Halloween this year. I decided it would be fun for Maddy to paint her own pumpkin. It was a huge hit. She took this task very serious.

I made some caramel apples for us. Maddy really enjoyed picking the m&m's off the sides and leaving the rest of the apple. :)

Our wonderful pumpkin. Any of you that know my husband, know what a perfectionist he is. It took him forever to make sure that everything was perfectly even. It looks perfect to me and yet after we lit it up and sat down on the couch it was driving him crazy that he thought the smile is not even. I have to admit, I still can't see it!

We went to my sister's house and went to her neighborhoods trunk or treat. Maddy had a blast.
She was very excited about the candy. She is still bringing her bucket to me while I am in the kitchen and trying to bum candy off me.

Not Halloween but I had it on my camera so I had to put it on. She has always had a thing for laundry baskets.
