It's official!

I have been slacking pretty bad lately as far as updating the blog so I figured while we are watching conference it would be a good time to update everything that has been going on the last couple weeks. The biggest news is..... Joe, my little brother is engaged!Liz and I rode trax down to the temple to take pictures, we were trying so hard to be sneaky and not be seen that we missed the whole thing. We felt so bad! Here are some of the pictures from after the fact. Luckily there was another lady passing as he proposed that got pics of it. I don't have any of the pictures she took, but I think she did a better job than Liz and I ever could have anyway. :)
Her name is Meranda and we are so excited to have her as part of our family. She fits in great with us, some people even say that she looks like us. Liz and I were thinking back to when Joe first came home off his mission and how hard we had thought it was going to be for us when Joe got married because we would have to let another sister into our "click". All of us sisters have always been so close that it was hard to imagine. But we couldn't be happier! She is an amazing person, and best of all she has made Joe happier than I have ever seen him. Welcome to the family Meranda, we love you!!

With all the pictures going on, my sisters little girl Aloura thought she needed to be in on some of them too. So here is a picture of "La La" on the steps of the temple. She was so cute. When we came around the corner and the temple came into view she turned to Liz and said, "mommy, I think that Jesus might live here." We were in awe. Kids are amazing. Maybe that is why they say that we need to be more like children. What a simple way of putting it but so very true. I think that I had almost forgotten it and needed a 3 year old to remind me that the temple is where Jesus lives.
