Very very far behind

Wow, I just realized today that we have pretty much disappeared off the face of the blogging world for 3 months now. So much has happened since then that I guess I will just start chronologically with pictures back from the first part of Oct.
Here is my sweet sleeping boy. He has been a bit of a challenging little guy. He seems to be getting better and better each day, but he was a pretty colicky little stinker at first. My mom and I were laughing the other day about how hard it was. This was pretty rare occasion to see the poor little guy sleeping peacefully, there were a lot of sleepless nights and long days of bouncing for everyone that helped out. :) Don't know what I would have done without help!
I kept asking Maddy what she wanted to be for Halloween and she kept saying that she wanted to be a monkey (she was watching alot of Curious George at the time). I had mentioned it to Cody's sister Stacy and so when she was looking for a costume for Mayci she found this one for Maddy for me. Here the girls are modeling their new costumes together when they came to visit baby Jake.
My sister Becca came to visit us as well. Here is Becca's little girl Bentli and baby Jake. Bentli is about 3 months old in this pic and Jake is about a week old, as you can see, he is a pretty big guy.

Here he is holding on tight to mommy's fingers.
Here is baby Jake getting to meet his great grandma and grandpa Perry for the first time. The picture did not turn out very well. :(After a bath. I have a picture of Maddy in this bath outfit as well so I had to get a pic of him in it as well.
Colton and Jessica came to see us one weekend as well. Jess and I decided to venture out and go to the dinosaur park. I was really good to get out of the house and Maddy had a blast while Jess ran around with her.

I have had this funny dog for 7 years now. He has managed to work his way into all of our hearts and we really love him. He is really good with Maddy and has such a sweet temperament. He managed to escape from the backyard a midst the chaos of having the new baby. We honestly never thought we would be seeing him again and were pretty upset (especially Maddy). Then one day I was putting the garbage out by the road and I saw a dog pretty much ripping someone's arm off the get to me. Sure enough there was Gus Gus. A boy down the street had taken him in when he saw him wondering. I could tell he was really sad he had to give him back, he kept saying what a good boy he is. I almost felt bad taking him back, but we just love this big guy too much to part ways with him. Here is a picture I took of him once he got back in the house, as you can see he is happy to be home as well. Alright, well one blog down, next up..... Halloween.
