Easter

We had a really fun Easter this year. I am amazed how much more fun the holidays are when you have a kid. Cody had to work on Easter so we celebrated it a day early. We started out the day with Maddy waking up to her Easter basket. I didn't take any pictures we just did video. The computer I am on is really slow and I am too lazy to go get the one downstairs so I will have to post it later. Anyway, she loved her basket. She ran down the hall and squealed when she saw it. We then headed to my sister's house for lunch and an egg hunt.

My mom got the kids some cute treat baskets that we let the kids open next, they loved them. Thanks mom!

We then headed outside for the egg hunt. The kids LOVED it! Maddy ran around picking up eggs as fast as her little legs would take her.

We were actually shocked at how well she did, we had to point a few out but for the most part she picked up on what to do really fast.

Especially when one of them kept trying to run away..... who's kid is that! :)

We decided to surprise daddy and go see him on Easter. He was very excited to see us. Especially his princess in her Easter dress.

We of course have to take a trip out to look at the truck, so many fun buttons in there!

She was having so much fun sitting in it I figured I would cut holes in it and she could wear it around..... HUGE hit. She walked around for hours in it.

I swear overnight she had a bunch of teeth that just popped up out of nowhere, so we figured we better get a start on brushing the teeth. She feels very grown up, and follows daddy and I into the bathroom when we are brushing ours and points to hers. She then makes a spitting sound when she is done, and helps put it away. What a funny little girl!

Every baby has to have a diaper and boots picture. So, here is Maddy's. She inherited these boots from Liz, and they have quickly become her favorite. She brings them to me all the time so she can wear them.

Just watch out, it is not pleasant when she gets your toes with these clod stompers!
