4 month appointment

I can't believe that Maddy is 4-1/2 months old already. She had her 4 month old check up last week. Cody and I were shocked to find out that her weight is in the 99th percentile and her height is in over the 100th percentile. I knew that she was a big baby, I just hadn't realized that she was that much bigger than other babies her age. Cody is way excited, he thinks that she is going to play in the WNBA. :) She is growing so fast. She is so much fun, she laughs and smiles all the time. It is so fun to get her out of bed in the morning. Whenever I peak over her crib she is smiling really big and kicking her legs as fast as she can. It is so great being a mom!

She is getting so strong. She is almost rolling over now. She used to hate being on her tummy so we were getting a little bit worried that she would never want to roll over but we have started working with and she is liking it more and more. Before we know it out little girl is going to be off and crawling.

We talked to her pediatrician and he suggested we start her on solids. She absolutely hates it. I have been trying to get her to to try something new each day and she is starting to get better. Mostly she just likes it when I let her play with the spoons.

It is so nice. She has finally started entertaining herself. Her favorite thing to do is sit in her walker and play with her piano.

I bought this bear/blanket for her at Kohls. She absolutely loves it.

As you can see, she hasn't quite figured out how to suck on her thumb so usually she just sticks her index finger in her mouth and gags on it. I am alomost hoping that she figures it out soon so I don't have to worry about her chocking herself anymore.
